It is important to understand the personality of an individual, including his or her tastes and liking. This will help you to customize your gift. It’s not the amount of money that you spend on a gift that matters; it’s your effort and thought that is more important than the price tag.
Let us consider a few practical examples. If the person whom you want to gift is an avid book lover and likes reading real-life tales, you can gift him or her a title like ‘Hard Call: Great Decisions and the Extraordinary People Who Made Them’, a remarkable book by Senator John McCain who employs experiences of both people in extraordinary circumstances and extraordinary people for dramatically describing the ‘anatomy’ of great decision making.
An avid book-lover would certainly appreciate informative titles on Indian history, culture and great personalities from various walks of life. On the other hand, books like ‘A Prisoner of Birth’ by Jeffrey Archer or ‘Brida’ by Paulo Coelho will suit fiction loving individuals. Visit http://www.landmarkonthenet.com for more books to choose from and gift.
For an always on-the-go person, a built-in GPS receiver is a perfect gift. If the device carries an internal GPS receiver (like Nokia N95), the person can utilize it to exactly know the current position and upgrade to full navigation through turn-by-turn voice guidance. He or she can also utilize Nokia Maps, with an external GPS receiver.
As the person you want to gift is one always constantly on the move, the Puma urban mobility bags will make a handy gift.
The collection comprises a wide range of products, such as a Document Wallet designed to make mobility much easier. For the new-age globetrotters’ category, you can opt for Westside’s Globe Trotter collection inspired by the world traveler and safari influences. It will make an unconventional, yet appealing gift.
If the person is a nature lover, you can choose from a variety of plants to give a surprise gift. There are , creepers, climbers, annuals, biennials, Bonsai, cacti, ferns, palms, cycads, Grasses and bamboos and seasonal flowers hanging baskets. There is no dearth of choice for gifting indoor as well as outdoor plants. Healthy perennials or shrubs tend to grow quickly, and also look pleasing to the eyes. In a nutshell, it is important to know the person’s personality type to decide upon gift.

Being at your productive best is the best gift that you can offer to your bosses and colleagues. Provided you feel happy and contended within yourself, you can give your hundred percent and even help out your colleagues.

It’s not that your have to give something in material terms to get yourself noticed. It’s through sheer positive attitude that you can make yourself feel wanted.
On eve of the Be Positive Do Something Positive Day, which falls on March 1, 2008, we recommend you some valuable tips to lift your and your colleagues’ mood. The idea of putting these tips into practice is to spreading positive vibes and building a sense of team spirit to meet targets and deadlines.
- Dig into your favorite ice cream: Nothing like it, if your office has an employee refrigerator so that you can treat yourself to a pint of your favorite ice cream flavor, whenever you feel like! Keep it ready in the refrigerator.
- Whenever you are a little bored or just feel like having a quick break, walk down to the kitchen and gulp a few spoonfuls. Share it with your office friends and colleagues, and they will surely respond to your gesture. All of you thus can have an impromptu break. Of course, you need to trust your coworkers that they won’t sneak some in your absence!
- Decorate A Bit: It’s amazing to see how most hardcore professionals leave their offices or even cubicle walls totally untouched. Check if you can hang your favorite pictures. Some nice posters and paintings will also do the trick. Just ensure that they are in good taste.
- Come close to nature: Place a bamboo plant and some type of fern in your office. It’s not just for decorative purpose. Once you get used to them, you will enjoy taking care of them. A simple act of sprinkling water on these plants will cheer you up. It inadvertently breaks up the long day a little and gets you out and walking around a bit.
Think of more such ideas to create a lighter, relaxed mood even in a highly challenging corporate ambiance. That’s the best corporate gift you can give, some times!

Gifts with something inscribed, something engraved or a scrapbook can add a personal touch.
Gifts with something inscribed
Books can indeed be a thoughtful and very special gift, but inscriptions carry them to a whole new level of intimacy. Buy your buddy a new book of fiction (need not be romantic) that she or he has been always talking about and is craving to read. It can also be his or her favorite classic, a journal, or a coffee-table book, the subject matter does matter, but your inscription does make it special.
Something engraved
An obvious gift may not be on its own such an innovative idea, but there’s an easy method to take it even the simplest and commonest of gifts into an entirely ultimate romantic orbit by engraving! By branding a cell phone, bracelet or even a simple key chain with your feelings and emotions or simply with your initials, or a memorable day, you can send the message in a subtle way.
A personal scrapbook
Don’t think that we are suggesting you simply cut & paste some pictures into a scrapbook but this is definitely the wonderful way of preserving and rekindling romantic memories. It’s rather about as near to any home-made gift and isn’t it nice narrating the story of your romance or friendship with a personal scrapbook as gift.

In every organisation, there is a hierarchy of executives at different levels. To maintain a communication channel with all of them directly is not possible at most times. However, it is neccessary for us to maintain our communication with as many people as possible or atleast keep the word that the relationship exists between two people.
Corporate gifting enables you to maintain those communication channels and also keep them open all the time. Sometimes, we have not been in touch with a couple of colleagues for a long time and we require to connect with them again. We can just send them a card that wishes them well or expresses some words of thanks along with a small gift that they would love. Naturally, the gift bought shouldnt be so expensive as you must not make an impression that you are gifting them because you need them for some reason/purpose you wish to accomplish. This simple practice can be done just to keep ones relationship fresh and alive, and keep remain connected somehow with more number of people at the same time you havent been for a long long time.

We all do mistakes. Mistakes that change the course of our journey, probably in the negative. And we always require a way to change it soon towards acheiving our goals. These mistakes can be a big distraction, especially if we do it with our clients or even employees.
A mistake while dealing or talking with our clients or employees can disturb the relationship to a great extent. It can create adversity to our business and our experince of life as a whole.
What can we do to cover up or even ask for a chance to cover up our mistakes, especially in business?
One of the best ways would be to send a bouquet of flowers, preferably roses, with a small card describing that you accept your mistake and ask for forgiveness. Along with it, a small box of sweets/chocolates can also be nice though not neccessary.
Corporate gifting is one way we can get what we want by practicing the art of gifting in the right way at the right time and place.

We always think that giving a gift that is huge or very expensive makes a big impression and that is the only way to make our colleagues and others happy. People often have this in mind that:
“A gift must be something lavish in nature”
I completely disagree. A gift is a gift and it doesn’t come in sizes but with a spirit of celebration, encouragement and a deeper understanding. Gifts come with a bond of happiness which makes a person happy. It is not the matter inside the gift that makes a corporate gift special but the spirit attached with the corporate gift.
There is a phrase that I strongly believe in:
“Life is to live, Love is to give and Power is to forgive”
If you really wish to love a person, one of the best ways to express love is through corporate gifting an item such as a small box of sumptuous box of chocolates gift-wrapped with shining ribbons and a gold-satin gift-paper which certainly would be enough to express the warm feelings of your heart.
The point is each corporate gift is special irrespective of what it contains materially as each corporate gift comes along with a handful of love. Thus, a small corporate gift can also be enough to establish a bond with people.

Corporate gifting naturally uplifts the spirit of the people who receive gifts from other people. Gifts are always termed to be precious and everyone loves gifts. Why?
Because everyone loves to receive gifts as they are a token of love. And who doesn’t love to be loved? Everyone does. A corporate gift brings a special message with it. A message that spreads cheer in the form of love. A message which brings two people closer to each other. A message that creates the path of glory, success and happiness.
Just a simple gift wrapped uniquely and attached with a special message can give vibes which can build a relationship for a lifetime.
Do send as many corporate gifts to as many people as possible and you will spread a lot of cheer not only to the people you know but also to the whole world. A small smile can motivate a person to do something extraordinary for thousands of people acrss the globe. Thats the power of charm. So, do not forget to charm people as much as possible by choosing gifts that melt their hearts and spread cheer across oceans.
Cheers!
