The ‘GIFTEX 2016’ exhibition which is scheduled to take place between the 29th of July – 1st of August 2016 at the Nehru Center has reinvented themselves with the shifting trends. ‘Giftex’ was launched in the year 1988 with the vision to create a common platform as a meeting place for sellers and buyers of Corporate Gifts. However over time and growing preferences we are now called as ‘GIFTEX’. Surveys conducted highlight the fact that close to 53% of the gifts distributed in the USA are food and beverage hampers, several multinational consumer manufacturing groups and gourmet stores have deduced the potential of this format, creating customized hampers for festivities. This proves the fact that the ‘Food Hamper’ concept is a formidable and sound theory, ensuring a holistic celebration with one’s family and friends.
