Hi Amar,
Thank you for commenting on our blog.
Dealing with your query, I would advise you to make sure that you gift only those items that would seem very elegant and at the same time, does not relate to any person’s religion. If the gift engages in any religious symbols on it or the gift might have any material that goes against the religious beliefs of the person you’re gifting, it would definitely hurt the receiver’s religious sentiments. For example, leather that is extracted and made from cow skin will hurt the receiver’s sentiments. So, to not hurt the sentiment, always check:
1) The receiver is religious or even spiritual.
2) If yes, do keep an awareness about the receiver’s religion and the beliefs that it creates within its followers.
3) What is the choice or preference of the person you’re gifting.
As always the rule, make sure the corporate gift is not made from any kind of material that is harmful or illegal or even developed by killing an animal or any other being.
